Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes the practices and commitments of Altevo Software Development Inc. regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information that we collect when you use our website (https://www.altevo.ca) or any other online service operated by Altevo on the altevo.ca domain, hereinafter referred to as our "Services".

By accessing or using our Services, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

Depending on how you use our Services, we may collect and process the following personal information about you:

  • First name and last name;
  • Email address;
  • Phone number.

Please note that this information is never collected automatically when you access our Services. We will only have access to this data if you explicitly choose to provide it.

In addition to the personal information you explicitly choose to give us, we use traffic analysis tools such as Google Analytics. These tools may collect information about how you interact with our services.

Minors

Law 25 specifies that persons under the age of 14 are considered minors for the purposes of data collection. Their personal information may not be collected from them without the consent of the holder of parental authority or guardian, except where such collection is clearly for the benefit of the minor.

In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent authority, in accordance with applicable laws.

Request for access or deletion of personal information

If you wish to exercise these rights and access your personal information, please submit a request by e-mail to our Privacy Officer (privacy@altevo.ca).

Once your request has been received, an acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to you to confirm that we have taken your request into account. We promise to process your request within thirty (30) days of receipt.

Altevo may refuse to delete personal information:

  • To continue providing services to the customer;
  • For legal reasons in the event of litigation.

Links to third parties and use of your information

Our Services may contain links or redirections to other websites that are not operated by Altevo. This Privacy Policy does not address the privacy policy and other practices of third parties, including any third party operating a website or other service accessible via a link on our Services. Altevo has no control over the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party site or service.

Law 25 compliance

We undertake to comply with the requirements of Bill 25 and to cooperate with the competent authorities in the event of a data breach. In the event of a leak of your personal data, we undertake to keep you and the Commission d'Accès à l'Information du Québec informed.

Policy revision

This policy may be modified at any time, without prior notice. In the event of an update, the revised version of the privacy policy will be published on www.altevo.ca. The revised policy will be effective 30 days after it is posted, and your continued access or use of our Services after that date will constitute your acceptance of the revised privacy policy.
